6-1 Peer Review Discussion: Adapting Written Communication
In this discussion, you will share part of the draft you submitted in Module Five, as well as describe who the initial intended audience will be, who the second intended audience will be, and how you will adapt your writing to the second audience. Then, you will respond to peers and provide feedback on how to adapt their writing to a different audience and writing situation.
Remember to remain thoughtful and respectful toward your peers and instructor in your initial and response discussion posts.
Create one initial post and provide feedback to two of your peers who have not yet received feedback.
For your initial post, address the following
- Using the first audience draft that you submitted in Module Five, share the part of the introduction that focuses on attracting the audience.
- State who the intended audience was in the first audience draft.
- Using the written response that you submitted in Module Two, share the second audience that you have chosen for the second version of your paper. Remember that you will submit both versions in Module Seven.
- Explain how you plan to adapt your writing to meet the needs of the second audience.
