Assignment: Chapter 12 — CREATE
Representation explores how different people, groups, cultures, and identities are portrayed in media. Students examine the ways media can reinforce or challenge stereotypes through characters, images, stories, and other forms of content.
The module encourages students to critically evaluate whether representations are accurate, diverse, and fair, while considering how repeated portrayals can influence audiences’ perceptions and attitudes toward different groups.
