Media Literacy COMM-2413: Module 7
News examines how people consume, interpret, and evaluate news in today’s rapidly changing media environment. Students explore how news is selected, produced, and distributed, as well as how factors such as algorithms, personal interests, and media habits can influence what people see and believe.
The module also encourages students to think critically about news consumption, information overload, credibility, and the role of news in shaping public understanding of current events.
